The former Apple chief executive told the Telegraph it was the "perfect time" to release a new set top box in the wake of huge telecoms deals and the unbundling of Pay-TV in order to compete with online streaming services including Netflix and Amazon Prime.

Yahoo chief executive Marissa Mayer has announced that she is due to give birth to twins - but plans to take little time off and "work throughout".
Ms Mayer, who has led the internet search giant for three years, previously took just a couple of weeks off after giving birth to her first child in 2012. She announced her latest pregnancy in a blog post saying she and husband Zachary Bogue had some "exciting news" to share.

Apple is hatching plans to create its own original TV shows, even making an audacious bid to secure the former stars of Top Gear, according to reports.
The iPhone maker has reportedly met several high-level media executives with a view to creating its own shows in the same way that Amazon and Netflix have in recent years.

Samsung has launched its new Gear S2 smartwatch ahead of the IFA technology trade show in Berlin, stepping up its game against the much-hyped Apple Watch with a new circular design and 3G connectivity.

Boko Haram now in Lagos, Enugu –DSS

lagos mapThe Department of State Services has arrested 20 suspected Boko Haram commanders in Lagos, Kano, Enugu, Plateau and Gombe states.
The suspects, who were arrested between July 8 and August 25, 2015, include the masterminds of the suicide attacks in Potiskum, Kano, Zaria, and Jos.
The DSS in a statement by an official, Tony Opuiyo, on Sunday in Abuja, said those arrested were notable commanders and frontline members of the notorious group from different parts of the country.

A teenage girl in Honduras had mistakenly been buried alive and apparently woke up in her coffin, only to die before she was freed.
Footage shows frantic relatives smashing into the concrete tomb of recently buried Neysi Perez, 16, after they said they heard her screaming from inside. She had been buried the previous day.
When they opened the coffin, Perez was dead.
